AgriBPO

AgriBPO is a funded project from the Department of Science and Technology under Science for Equity Empowerment and Development (SEED). The project aims to promote the entrepreneurship and development of Women Self Help Groups (SHG), Salem, Tamil Nadu. It is a program that uses Information and Computer Technology to create employment opportunities.

This project helps to connect the farmers to agricultural experts in real-time to get some advice to solve problems like crop disease, severe weather, and the pricing of the yields. This is a tool for women to operate their farmlands and earn an income alongside helping agricultural experts with employment.

These are some of the women empowerment initiatives from The Sona Group that benefit the success of rural women. The motto is to help a community of women by providing training and tools to upgrade their life.
